A student of mine, Shaun, just told me this amazing story…
He was at a social event last week and met one of his female friends there.
Now this was a female friend that he’d been crushing on for months…
And they were good friends, too.
The problem?
They were just
friends.
This girl loved him already… as a friend.
And she’d never considered him as more than that. Not even for a second.
But something out of the ordinary happened last week.
First, he said, he noticed something different in her eyes when she looked at him.
At first he dismissed it.
“She’s probably just drunk,” he
thought.
Then, a few hours later when he sat down on the sofa next to her…
She grabbed his hand.
Weaved her fingers through his.
And smiled at him.
An hour after that?
They kissed.
And an hour after that?
He went with her back to her place…
… and proceeded

And as he put on his clothes the next morning, he was both surprised and delighted at what had just happened.
