OKAY so - I want to dispel some BS that's been going around for a while.
Especially on the internet and social media.
I've seen so many guys pretend to be a jerk just so they don't appear to be a "nice guy".
Oh my goodness, this is a recipe for DISASTER.
Now I know what you're thinking...
"Marni, but 'nice guys' always get rejected and friend-zoned right?!"
And this is such a misconception.
Listen:
Women want you to be AUTHENTIC.
If you're a nice guy, OWN IT.
DO NOT be something you're not because you're scared of rejection or because...
"That's now what women like."
Let me tell you what women don't like about the "nice guys" once and for all.
Are you ready?
Women reject and friend-zone FAKE NICE GUYS.
The guys who are pretending to be nice as a means to an end.
Women can smell this kind of behavior from a mile away.
Likewise, they can tell if you're PRETENDING to be suave and/or experienced with women.
If you're new to dating...
OWN IT.
Women LOVE and appreciate this kind of raw honesty.
They know they'll always get the real deal with you AND...
You're not afraid of who you are.
In fact, you're so comfortable, you're willing to take a risk and TELL HER.
This shows her COURAGE and CONFIDENCE.
Two things women admire in men they're attracted to.
But... if you pretend to be nice or a jerk in an attempt to please her...
She'll sniff this out immediately.
She's had practice because guys do this all the time.
Unfortunately, guys who've been friend-zoned resort to this kind of behavior the most.

"Well, I was nice and friendly and it didn't work so... time to do the opposite."
But they're missing the point entirely.
They're fixing their lack of authenticity with...
Less authenticity.
Do you see the problem now?
Most guys don't and they get stuck in a vicious cycle.
Swapping masks for other masks and becoming frustrated when the costumes don't work.
When all they had to do was TAKE OFF THE FRIGGIN' MASK!
Now listen.
